With a career in construction and mechanical work, plus plenty of his own home improvement projects over the years, Tom Breeding is no stranger to getting things done around the house. But when he and his wife Georgia noticed that their 20-year-old vinyl windows were leaking, they knew they wanted to find a reputable company to handle the work.
“Our previous windows were original to the house,” Tom says. “They were older vinyl windows and they leaked badly. In the summer the air conditioning was going out, and in the winter we had a lot of cold air coming in. You could stand two feet away from the window and feel a draft. We knew we had to do something about it.”
The Breedings had already worked with Improveit on a bathroom remodel in early 2021. When the topic of window replacement came up during a follow-up courtesy call, they knew it made sense to have Improveit come out again and assess the situation.
Tom says he and Georgia were pleased with the quality of Improveit’s Performax54 windows, and were happy with how smooth the process was for installation. “The installers were wonderful,” Tom says. “They worked together like a machine, replacing two windows at a time. They had it down pat! We noticed a difference in the comfort of the house right away, and they open so easily. We’re really happy with them.”
