The Herrmanns’ complete bathroom renovation create a bright, beautiful new space

When the Herrmanns decided it was time for a change, they knew they wanted a bathroom that felt fresh, modern, and functional – something their outdated space simply didn’t offer anymore. Though the original bathroom was clean and well-maintained, it featured decades-old design choices, like light gray tile with maroon accents on every wall, dark red mosaic floor tile, and a seashell-shaped sink that had long fallen out of style.

With a vision for a brighter and more updated space, the Herrmanns chose Improveit for their complete bathroom renovation—and the result is nothing short of stunning.

Cincinnati Tub to Shower Conversion Makes a Statement

One of the biggest updates in this Cincinnati bathroom remodel was a tub-to-shower conversion. The old tub was removed and replaced with a sleek, elegant walk-in shower featuring a crisp white base and beautiful Silver White shower surround with a large-format Fairfield tile pattern. To tie the entire space together, the same marble-look panels were installed as wainscoting around the rest of the bathroom, finished with stylish trim for a polished look.

The transformation didn’t stop there. The outdated vanity was replaced with a modern white cabinet topped with a clean rectangular sink. A mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink adds both storage and shine – perfect for keeping daily essentials organized and out of sight.

Throughout the bathroom, the Herrmanns chose oil-rubbed bronze fixtures in our popular Wynford style. From the shower faucet and grab bars to the towel ring and 4-globe light fixture, every detail adds warmth and contrast against the crisp white and marble tones. The new Cayman sliding shower door, with its exposed oil-rubbed bronze track, is the perfect finishing touch.
